51. Wise and Foolish Virgins

Matthew 25:1-13

Yeshua prophesies concerning the end of the age to four disciples on the Mount of Olives

12th Day of the 1st Month, 4028 FC; Monday, April 26, 28 CE

Matthew 25:1 At the time [when the evil servants say that their master delays his coming] the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins [who are the attendants who prepare the bride]. They all took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps, but took no extra oil with them. 4 The wise took their lamps and also oil in their vessels. 5 The bridegroom tarried and they all became weary and slept. 6 At midnight there was a cry, ‘Look, the bridegroom comes! Go out to meet him!’ 7The virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil because our lamps went out.’ 9 But the wise answered, ‘There will not be enough for both you and us. Instead, you go to those that sell and buy oil for yourselves.’ 10 While they went to buy, the bridegroom came. Those who were ready went with him to the marriage and the door was shut. 11 Later, the other virgins also came and “said, ‘MASTER! Open the door!’ 12 But the bridegroom replied, ‘To tell you the truth, I do not know you!’ 13 Therefore, watch! You do not know the day or the hour AHM{when the bridegroom will come}. {1}

{Mt 25:13.1} The Word is the light. The oil is the storing up of the Word in the heart for the darkness ahead. It is the responsibility of those who minister to prepare the bride and to have adequate light to last through the upcoming night. Those who do not store the Word in their heart now, and obey the Messiah now, will be shut out – they did not do their job at the end. Again, this is a warning to those who would be deceived by false teachers and would depend on the early arrival of the Messiah in a false pretribulation rapture.”

Who have fallen asleep?  How many have fallen asleep while waiting for the bridegroom to come?  The scripture teach that they ALL became weary and slept.  ALL those that are filled with the spirit become weary and fall asleep with those that are not spirit filled but only religious in their spiritual nature.

Where must we go to buy the oil?  Who sells the oil that keeps the lamp burning that we may find The Way in the Midnight Hour?  Who was it that turned the Temple of YeHoVah into a den of thieves?  At what price is the oil purchased for, but more importantly who and what are they selling?

I tell you the truth dear friend,  there are those in these dark days that freely give what has been given them.  They rejoice in pointing wiling hearts through the narrow gate and up to The Door to meet the one all must be given to receive the precious gift of eternal life.  These are the same ones who trumpet the call at midnight and awake ALL with the cry ‘Look, the bridegroom comes! Go out to meet him!’

Let us rejoice each day in the knowing our relasonship is strong, for we rejoice in the mysterious ways he governs us and guides us along The Way.  Oh Mighty Yeshua anoint us with your Holy Spirit Oil and kill the beast within us, the religious spirit that is enmity with God, that our lamps will burn brightly in the darkness allowing us to find the Open Door when we find ourselves as clouds embraced by the wind and washed clean by the rain.
